Safety Advisors is the trading name of Gladstone Consulting Ltd. The practice is based at Centrum 100 in Burton upon Trent and works throughout the United Kingdom and overseas.
We would rather be clear than clever. A control that a supervisor will actually use is worth more than a document written to impress an auditor and then left in a drawer. That is what “safe in our knowledge” means in practice: advice you can stand behind, because it came from people who have had to follow the same law themselves.
Clients include churches, rail suppliers, airlines, construction companies and developers, office-based businesses, and engineering and manufacturing firms. The brief is usually health and safety. It sometimes extends to fire, aviation quality audits, training, inspections and environmental advice.
Specialist consultants support the directors on construction, fire and aviation commissions, including IFQP-qualified fuel auditors.
A short history
- 2007Safety Advisors is established.
- 2009Principal Designer and CDM consultancy work is under way on projects.
- 2011Justin De-Vere becomes Director and leads the consultancy.
- 2012Julia De-Vere joins to lead marketing, business development and the office.
- 2015Steve Bayliss joins as Senior Consultant from a multinational health and safety role.
